'When you haven't written for a while, don't waste time explaining why or apologising for not having written.' That's what someone told me last week, so I won't.
Meanwhile, back at the chalkface, here's a new twist on an old idea.
Change the background colour of the WB to black, change the pen colour to white and what have you got?
A blackboard, that's what.
Saw it in a classroom this week and it looked very effective - also looks good with a yellow pen.
